Medical Qigong 1: Self-Transformation

This 6-week course introduces students to Medical Qigong Therapy and begins them on the path of becoming a certified practitioner. Throughout the four Self-Transformation modules (which constitute the first half of the Practitioner traiing and certification program), students will be introduced to a historical overview of Chinese Energetic Medicine; energetic anatomy and physiology, energetic embryological development, and basic theories of energy tonification, purgation, and regulation of the body's internal organs and channels. Students will also learn a set of Qigong exercises to strengthen their body and immune system, regulate internal organs, nervous system, and hormones, relieve pain, and release deep-seated emotions and stress.
