Dmitri Peskov is the Chair of the Snow College Dance Department. He began his martial arts training at the age of six with his father as his first teacher. He holds a black belt in hapkido as well as a blue belt in judo and yoseikan budo. He has been studying Chen Family Style Taiji (the oldest form of the five traditional styles of taiichi) for the past ten years. His teachers include Master Sang Han (Director of Golden Rishi Qigong and Taichi), Sifu Andy Loria (Director of Chenjiagou Taijiquan USA, Chicago) as well as Grandmasters Chen Xiaoxing and Chen Ziqiang. Dmitri also studied Soaring Crane Qigong with Grandmaster and Acupuncture Teacher Tiriaq Taylor (Director of Mountain Valley Martial Arts), Reiki with the Japanese American Reiki Master John Martin Raine-Okubo, Katsugen with Niurca Marquez, Wing Chun with Sifu Shenn Thomas and aikido with sensei Steve Zollinger. Dmitri is also a Medical Qigong Practitioner as well as a certified yoga and pilates instructor.
